- Other Chinese medicine modalities include: cupping, moxibustion, plum blossom needling, topicals (poultice, compress, salve, heat/cold), electroacupuncture, etc.)
- Acupuncture sessions may include 5-15 minutes of bodywork to address musculoskeletal issues.

Community Acupuncture Clinics
Acupuncture and therapeutic bodywork are most effective when people can come regularly. By offering these donation-based clinics, we hope that people can afford to commit to a course of treatment that will really make a difference. Another benefit of the community healing setting is that the group’s collective energy enhances individual treatments. This model depends on Mutual Generosity, which ALWAYS benefits the community!
The clinic is set up with a group of reclining chairs as well as a private space w/ a treatment table if needed, especially for doing a private interview before the treatment. Privacy and modesty issues are addressed by the patient remaining dressed in warm, loose fitting clothing that can be arranged in order to access the acupuncture points. This type of treatment, delivered in a group setting has traditionally been the norm in Asia.
Walk-ins welcome; Appointment recommended.
Facial Rejuvenation
- Cosmetic Acupuncture + stress-relief, hormone balancing & relaxation treatment. Includes healing serums & oils to moisten and nourish your skin.
- Micro-needling sessions by a trained practitioner for additional treatments of wrinkles, scars, enlarged pores and stretchmarks.

Herbal Medicine
- After a thorough examination, traditional diagnosis, and possible several treatments, we will determine if an herbal formula would be beneficial for you. Often, herbs supplement the acupuncture treatments, contributing to your healing on a daily basis, in between acupuncture and bodywork sessions.
- We use herbs from the Chinese, European/American, and Ayurvedic systems of medicine. Some herbal formulas are traditional formulas. Other times, we will formulate a special combination of herbs to address your unique situation.
Holistic Living Counseling
Your healing journey is a partnership between you, your health practitioners and your community. Everything in your life contributes to your healing (or impedes it). Therefore, we may explore practices that you can incorporate in your daily life that will contribute to your good health: diet, exercise, qi gong, other healing modalities, stress-reduction, etc.
Services Pricing
– Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM) listed below will be discounted based on same-day payment (vs. filing insurance claim) subtract $8. Both TAM and Massage/Bodywork sessions are discounted with payment by check, cash or Zelle (vs. credit card), subtract $2-$5.
– Sliding scale, Community Acupuncture Clinics and other assistance is also available to those with financial hardship. We believe that healing should be available to all regardless of financial means. Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed.
